La Casita turns 15!

Marking its 15th anniversary in 2026, La Casita Cultural Center presents Quinceañera Dreams, a new exhibition and immersive celebration of one of the most cherished traditions in Latino culture—the quinceañera. Through community-sourced photographs, video, oral histories, family memorabilia, stunning gowns, and multimedia installations, Quinceañera Dreams explores the history, beauty, and cultural significance of this beloved coming-of-age tradition that connects generations. Opening night will include a live quinceañera celebration as a local Latino family shares their daughter’s special day in full traditional attire and ceremony, as well as guided tours of the exhibition, music, and authentic Cuban buffet.

Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public. La Casita is on the ground floor of the  Lincoln Building at 109 Otisco St. in Syracuse.
