Syracuse, New York - Christopher Community has announced the appointment of Amanda Coyle as Community Impact & Resource Manager, where she will advance the mission by driving community engagement, build donor and partner relationships, and collaborate on communications strategies that highlight the organization’s impact.
“Amanda brings a unique blend of communications expertise and community leadership that aligns perfectly with our mission,” said Jeffrey Eysaman, President & CEO. “Her work will play an important role in advancing Christopher Community’s vision of strengthening and uplifting communities across the region.”
Amanda brings a wealth of experience in communications, community engagement, and program development. In her first year as the Director of Communications & Community Relations at the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways, she developed and nurtured relationships with more than 150 community partners across 26 counties, greatly enhancing the Girl Scout experience through expanded opportunities for learning, engagement, and involvement. She also held previous leadership roles with the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways as Manager of Cookie Distribution and Manager of E-Commerce Programs. Earlier in her career, Amanda worked at the East Area Family YMCA, where she served as Family & Teen Director, Family Director, and Sr. Program Director.
Amanda is a graduate of Marist University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, and she holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication & Leadership from Seton Hall University.
A resident of Cicero, NY, Amanda and her husband, Ryan, are the proud parents of four children — twin 18-year-olds and twin 15-year-olds. Their daughter Aubrey is a first-year student at Dickinson College, majoring in psychology with a minor in biology, while playing on the softball team. Their son Landon attends SUNY Morrisville, where he is majoring in criminology and plays on the lacrosse team. Their younger twins are high school sophomores: Mallory, who swims and participates in theater both on stage and behind the scenes, and Wesley, who competes in cross country, swim, and track.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys puzzles, card games, board games, trivia, cardmaking, and pickleball.
“I’m so excited to be part of the CCI team,” said Coyle. “I look forward to bringing enthusiasm and energy to this new role while working with our marketing team to share the inspiring stories and incredible work Christopher Community does to strengthen and uplift the communities we serve.”
